Respect people and communities
Disagree with ideas without harassing, threatening or demeaning people. Hate, intimidation, targeted abuse and calls for violence are not permitted.
Be accurate and fair
Share claims you can reasonably support, give context, distinguish allegations from verified findings and correct errors. Do not impersonate officials or organisations.
Protect privacy
Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, identification records or other personal information about someone without a proper basis. Avoid identifying vulnerable individuals unnecessarily.
Use authentic participation
No automated signatures, fake accounts, purchased engagement, coordinated harassment or misleading petition statistics. Campaign organisers must not manufacture endorsements.
Upload lawful content
Use images, video and documents you have permission to share. Do not post non-consensual intimate imagery, harmful exploitation material or content that endangers others.
Moderation and appeals
Reports may lead to temporary restrictions, edits, removal or account action. Affected users can contact AfricaChange to request clarification or review, subject to available safeguards and applicable law.
Constructive civic action
Encourage peaceful participation and lawful engagement. Make specific requests of decision-makers without implying AfricaChange has verified or endorsed every campaign.
