Complaint Against The Federal Road Safety Corps On Bad Unethical Conduct And Ineffective Service To Nigerians

I write to express my concern on bad conduct and the ineffectiveness of the Federal Road Safety Commission. They are saddled with the responsibility of preventing or minimizing accidents on the highway. Clearing obstructions on any part of the highways. Educating drivers, motorists, and other members of the public generally on the proper use of the highways. Designing and producing the driver’s license to be used by various categories of vehicle operators. All this are rather neglected but have embraced the act of aiding overloading in commercial vehicles from whom they collect bribes everyday at strategic locations all over the Country.

They as a commission contributes to the high rate of accidents in the country. When accidents occur,it is expected of them to have stationed ambulance to give first aids treatment to victims of accidents but all this facilities are far from fetch by the commission. Accidents are most likely to occur but can be prevented if necessary things are put in place.

On this note i hereby call on the Nigerian Government to help revitalize this commission and ensure that they function accordingly to the ACT that establish them as a commission. Help by paying them well so as to stop collecting bribes from citizens. Help them with basic trainings to give a prompt delivery of service to the people .
